Enter Heavyocity’s “Write Some Music, Win Some Stuff” Contest
Heavyocity, a NYC-based team of composers and software instrument developers, has launched a contest billed simply, “Write Some Music, Win Some Stuff.”
To participate, composers will create an original composition of 1 to 2 minutes in length, using virtual instruments from Native Instruments and/or Heavyocity Media (eligible virtual instruments are listed on the Heavyocity site), for a chance to win a free copy of Evolve, a free copy of Evolve Mutations, a $119 voucher good towards any purchase at the Native Instruments Online Shop, and a Heavyocity T-Shirt.
The prizes will be awarded as follows:
Grand Prize: 1x Evolve, 1x Evolve Mutations, $119 towards Native Instruments’ Online Shop, and a feature on the Heavyocity site
Second Place: 1x Evolve Mutations
Runner Up: 1x Heavyocity T-shirt
Submissions to the contest can be made through the Heavyocity SoundCloud contest DropBox. To submit, you must have, or create a free SoundCloud account. All Submissions must be made by the end of day on September 30, 2010 .
10 finalists will be selected by The Heavyocity Team, and submitted to a judging panel. The prestigious contest jury includes:

Jason Graves – Bafta Award Winning Video Game Composer
