Swedish synth innovators Teenage Engineering – makers of the desirable OP-1 Portable Synthesizer – will celebrate the launch of their new OP-1 Accessories with a NYC event at AC Gears on August 28.

Join the Teenage Engineering team for first-hand presentations, artist showcases, giveaways, Q&As and refreshments. Catch an in-store guest performance by musician/comedian Reggie Watts.

After the event continue to Cielo for some more partying with the team and a chance to hear the OP-1 in action, in the hands of some world class artists. Carson Day and Pauli PSM (Gorillaz Sound System, UK) will perform as part of the evening’s events.

Click to check out the OP-1 portable synthesizer/sampler/controller ($849), with built-in 4-track tape (change tape speed while recording, or record backwards in realtime; match tape speed to the sequencer clock for overdubbing with changing pitch, etc.)
