Fiesta Fotos! Virtue + Vice at the Gibson Showroom
The Gibson Showroom on 54th Street — the former Hit Factory studio — was the ideal setting for the Virtue + Vice party last week. Music, advertising and other industry creatives converged for a night that SonicScoop can only grade as Pure Fun.
Al Risi of ARMM was master of puppets — we mean ceremonies — at the mixer, which included highlights aplenty. Guests could get their pictures taken with a fleet of groupies, courtesy of Christopher Lynch of Instilled Images. Killer performances were on display at the live room, including an electrifying acoustic set by NYC piano/word wizard Ian Axel. A jam room was available and heavily used, as well. The coup de grace was an incredibly grooooovy live set by Ozomatli in the intimate but accomodating downstairs live space.
