How to Use EQ in Pop and Hip Hop (ft. the Kirchoff EQ)

Regular SonicScoop contributors Paul Womack and Maria Elisa Ayerbe were recently on the Plugin Alliance channel showing off the new Kirchoff-EQ in action.

Maria, a GRAMMY-nominated mixers, gives a track-by-track breakdown of her EQ moves on a Latin pop track to help shape the bottom end, creating space for the bass and making the drums punch through.

Meanwhile, Paul “Willie Green” Womack demos the Kirchhoff-EQ plugin on a hip hop track from Duncecap, using it to give the beat a fuller sound while creating space for the vocals.
