This week we had the privilege of sitting down with the creator of Reaper, Justin Frankel. The latest version of his company’s flexible and cost-effective DAW comes out tomorrow, August 12th.

We talked to Justin about how Reaper got started, how it’s different, and what we can expect in Reaper Version 5. This alternative DAW is inexpensive, easy to use, surprisingly customizable and has a rabidly devoted userbase in the tens of thousands worldwide.
