iZotope Releases Free Spectral Shaping Plug-In – Neutrino

Prepping for AES 141, 2016, iZotope is bursting at the seams to share some new tech with us for FREE.

Neutrino is an automated plug-in that uses iZotope’s spectral shaping technology. The tech listens to audio and provides real-time dynamics processing based on perceptual hearing models.

iZotope’s suggested use is for added refinement of mixes, i.e. it isn’t going to mix our entire album, which we don’t want anyway, but it will provide focus and balance to the entire mix when applied to every track. Neutrino is for anyone interested in achieving better balanced mixes without sacrificing dynamics and sonic integrity — or those looking for an easy-to-use tool with simple controls for a streamlined mixing workflow.
