JZ Microphones Intros A New “Classic” Microphone, the Vintage 11
Latvian mic manufacturer JZ Microphones has introduced the latest of its “Vintage Series” microphones – the V11.
Instead of emulating classic microphone models as in their Vintage 12 (AKG C12) and Vintage 67 (Neumann U 67), the Vintage 11 is named for 2011 – the year in which this “new classic microphone has been created.”
According to JZ: “Vintage 11 is dedicated for everyone who loves recording in highest quality possible and wants something better than all known studio standards.” Check out the specs HERE.
“JZ Microphones introduced the Vintage series two years ago with the aim to re-create vintage microphones and to unite classic qualities of the originals in combination with innovative technologies that provide various enhancements, such as the Golden Drop sputtering technique which provides a more detailed and transparent capsule response.”
The V11 is available for pre-order at http://www.jzmic.com. Retail price: $699.
