Louisiana-Based PreSonus Launches GoFundMe Campaign to Help Flood-Ravaged Employees
Audio equipment maker PreSonus launched a GoFundMe campaign this Monday to help employees who found themselves victims of the record-breaking floods that have been ravaging Louisiana.
The headquarters of the Baton Rouge-based business stood up to the high waters, but many workers—and their homes—were not so lucky.
So far, their campaign earned over $7,500 in the first 24 hours, and now on day 2, now sits at an impressive and heartwarming $16,500, over half their $25,000 goal.

Baton Rouge is home to PreSonus Audio Electronics. As you know, Baton Rouge and much of the surrounding area suffered historic flooding. While the company was able to avoid flood damage, many of our employees did not – in fact, some have lost everything.
We have heard from many employees, customers, vendors, and other friends who would like to help our employees during this difficult time. Therefore, we have created this site so that everyone can donate directly to help those employees who suffered losses from the flood.
All donations will be distributed equally among the affected employees as determined by the company. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary. Please note that no donation is too small and that every bit helps.
