Man Made Music Expands Creative & Brand Partnerships — Promotes Dan Venne, Adds Kristy Zeigler
Additional manpower has just been added to Man Made Music.
The most recent expansion for Joel Beckerman’s prolific music company is within its Creative and Brand Partnership departments, and comes in the form of two personnel moves. They include the promotion of Dan Venne to Vice President, Supervising Producer and the hiring of Kristy Zeigler as Manager of Brand Partnerships & Music Strategy.
Venne has been working with Man Made Music since 2008, and was promoted to Senior Producer there in 2012. Highlight projects for Venne include overseeing the expansion of AT&T’s micro-catalog, and playing a key role in the sonic rebranding of Univision with a full Sonic Identity system consisting of network themes, news and sports variations, and radio IDs.
As VP Supervising Producer, Venne’s objectives are to “expand the Creative department while maintaining the integrity of the work and cultivating a spirit of innovation.”
In her post, Zeigler will work alongside Allison Meiresonne, President of Brand Partnerships, as well as reporting to Beckerman regarding music supervision and music business relationships. According to the company, Zeigler’s new role will entail “evangelizing Man Made Music, its vision, and its approach to telling great stories with music and sound in the entertainment space.”
In addition, Zeigler will act in an A&R capacity, with the goal of attracting like-minded composers and artists to Man Made Music, and oversee music supervision strategy. She comes to Man Made Music after The Music Playground/The Lodge, where she worked in music licensing and took on roles in A&R, sales, email marketing, social media, and handling artist materials.
