Meet The Maker: Alto Music NYC Presents Vienna Symphonic Library’s MIR PRO

Dietz Tinhof, godfather of the acclaimed Vienna Symphonic Library MIR PRO, will be visiting NYC for the AES Convention next week, and Alto Music NYC is offering a schedule of seminars and demos where folks can see and hear the Vienna technology in a studio environment, and ask questions. Tinhof will be on-hand, together with VSL Product Manager Paul Steinbauer and Alto Music’s Composer Specialist Shane Koss.

MIR PRO is a Multi-Impulse Response convolution reverb. It also now comes as a dedicated plug-in for direct integration with any DAW.

MIR PRO GUI

MIR PRO is a Multi Impulse Response convolution reverb (sampling 11,000 impulse responses from four halls, etc.) and it now comes as a dedicated plug-in now, supporting AU, VST, RTAS, and AAX formats for direct integration with any DAW. So even if you have no use for or experience with the VSL instruments (i.e. mix engineers), you still ought to know about this plugin.
