Moby Releases “The Perfect Life” Single on Blend.io for Remixing and Collaboration

Moby, always the audio adventurer, is charting a new course yet again. This time, the artist will be releasing his new album, Innocents, in an interactive and remixable form on the music collaboration platform Blend.io.

Moby is opening up “Innocents” to denizens of Blend.

For producers and engineers everywhere, this is the ideal opportunity to get inside Moby’s head and build on his sonic accomplishments. The first track Blenders will be able to collaborate on is “The Perfect Life,” featuring Wayne Coyne (The Flaming Lips).

Collaborators for the album “Innocents” also include Mark Lanegan from Queens of The Stone Age, Skylar Grey, and others. In coming months, additional tracks from the record will be released one at a time for Blending.

Blend.io, will open up multi-track sessions of songs from the double platinum recording artist’s new album for musicians and producers around the world to re-imagine, remix and share. Blend members are able to quickly “Pull” projects — in Ableton Live and Pro Tools format — into their Dropbox folder. They can then create their own versions and seamlessly publish their updates to the platform where the projects are backed up and continue to evolve.

“I spend most of my time alone in my studio, so for Innocents it seemed like a really nice idea to involve other people in the making of the record,” said Moby.
