MuTools Releases Modular DAW MuLab 4

Get ready to move your mind around: MuLab 4 from MuTools is the first DAW of its kind to implement a modular architecture for music production on your computer.

This new approach will “..let you process your audio and MIDI in almost any possible way…”. From the looks of it, the modular system can result in inspiring new production and processing methods including fast dragging and dropping capabilities. Aside from its interesting architecture, MuLab 4 also has several other tools and instruments that set it apart from the rest of the DAWs on the market.

MuTools 4 introduces a new modular approach to the DAW.

MuLab 4 is available now in two versions: XT for about $33 MSRP and UL for roughly $99 MSRP. A cross-grade is also available for XT to UL for $77. MuLab 4 supports VST plugins and is available for Mac or PC. Now – more details from MuTools themselves:
