Universal Audio debuts the Apollo Solo range, offering both Thunderbolt and USB options.

Apollo Solo is a reimagined line of portable desktop audio interfaces for Mac and Windows. Apollo Solo offers class-leading A/D and D/A conversion with Realtime UAD SOLO Core processing, letting you track and mix with a full library of UAD Powered Plug-Ins with near- zero latency. Apollo Solo’s Thunderbolt 3 connectivity gives both Mac and Windows users a powerful and portable bus-powered desktop recording solution. Waves is now shipping the WRC-1 WiFi Stage Router.

Waves’ WRC-1 WiFi Stage Router is ideal for live applications where monitor mixes are controlled over WiFi.

The WRC-1 Stage Router is an advanced rack-mountable wireless router, designed specifically for pro-audio applications such as on-stage IEM control. The WRC-1 is ideal for use with the Waves MyMon in-ear monitor mixing app, as well as other audio setups that require secure and robust WiFi connectivity, such as remote control of audio consoles and PA equipment in venues, stage productions, houses of worship, etc., all of which require a robust WiFi router solution. The WRC-1 can also be used in various facilities (corporate, educational, etc.) as a DLNA player for simplified audio playback.

The Waves WRC-1 comes with basic router management software to control the most common features required by users. In addition, an advanced set of router configuration features is accessible by installing a free advanced firmware package.

Acustica Audio announces Pink4 for Quantica Modula is now available.

Acustica’s Pink4 features 6 powerful modules that offer an authentic replication of some of the most lauded gear from the late 1960s.

Pink4 is based on a collection of well-known American studio gear from the late ’60s that is still being used by engineers all around the world. It boasts 6 different EQ models, a super flexible dynamic section (comprising a single band and a multi-band compressor), plus a complete collection of preamp emulations which include 16 different line-level channels and 9 extra custom preamps.

The collection features the PINK4 215 preamp module with 8 different circuit distortion models, PINK4 780 10-band graphic EQ, PINK4 1650 4-band EQ module, PINK4 2412 single band compressor, PINK4 7236 multiband compressor, and PINK4 Channel Strip with EQ, compressors, and preamp options.
