Antelope Audio introduces the Discrete Pro line of interfaces.

Antelope’s Discrete 8 Pro is available now; its smaller sibling will make its debut in the near future.

With updated converters, blazing-fast Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, and reimagined control capabilities featuring the ultra-powerful virtual patch-bay known from studio staples like Orion Studio and Galaxy 32, the new Discrete 8 Pro Synergy Core and Discrete 4 Pro Synergy Core give producers, studio owners, bands, and recording engineers the powerful tools they need to create the sound they want.

The new Discrete Pro interfaces feature the same Discrete ultra-linear mic preamps with 6-transistor circuit topology inspired by classic consoles. Added to that are new and improved AD/DA converters, with up to 130dB of dynamic range even in the smaller Discrete 4 Pro, and the same AFCTM clocking technology as Antelope’s industry-standard master clocks. This ensures crystal clear sound during both recording and playback, with unprecedented detail and a more spacious stereo image with clear instrument and vocal separation.

The Discrete 8 Pro Synergy Core is available now on the Antelope Audio website as well as from dealers worldwide, with Discrete 4 Pro Synergy Core to follow soon.

API unleashes the 3122V mic preamp.

API packs two of their revered 312 preamps along with VU meters, 3:1 output transformer tap, and more into a single powerful rack unit.

The new 3122V provides two channels of API’s signature analog sound and features the same legendary circuit design found in the 3124V and 3124MV, as well as the 312, 512V, and 512c mic preamps.

In addition to the familiar combination of 2520 Op Amps and proprietary output transformers that give all API mic preamps their punch and massive headroom, the 3122V also includes front and rear panel XLR and 1/4” inputs (conveniently selectable on the faceplate), a fixed-frequency HP filter, gain, and the popular variable output level control, as well as 48V, polarity flip, and a pad. Rounding out the feature set are the 3:1 output transformer taps and two analog VU meters with a separate peak LED.

Eventide releases the Anthology XII Bundle.

Eventide furthers their popular Anthology collection with the release of version XII.

With the introduction of the new Anthology XII plugin bundle, Eventide draws on their rich legacy of award-winning effects to combine 33 essential music production mainstays in one package, inspiring creativity and providing problem-solving solutions to ubiquitous sound production problems.

More than 4,500 presets, including artist presets, are included across all of Anthology XII’s plugins. What’s more, sweepable transition effects can be designed through the addition of the H9 series plugins’ “ribbon” slider.
