PreSonus adds Ableton Live Lite—along with other standalone apps and plugins—to the Studio Magic Suite.

PreSonus’ 2020 Studio Magic Suite software bundle now includes popular standalone applications including Ableton Live Lite, plugin effects and virtual instruments in VST, AU, and AAX formats, lessons from Melodics, and much more.

Acustica announces the Jade plugin suite is now available.

Acustica’s colorful Jade suite features the crucial option of operating at low latency for use while tracking.

Jade is capable of delivering a warm and smooth sound that retains a remarkable naturalness, while also providing absolute transparency and sought-after top-end sheen. It comprises 5 different hardware units merged into 3 different EQ emulations, 2 dynamics processors, and a complete preamp section that lets you choose among 5 different flavors.

Each plugin included in the Jade suite comes in a “Standard” version and an alternative “ZL” version which operates at zero latency and is thus suitable for use when tracking, at the cost of extra processing resources.

Shreddage 3 Hydra is a virtual 8-string electric guitar ideal for rock and metal producers. It features a wealth of articulations, tones, and playing styles, covering sounds ranging from crystal-clear clean tones to screaming leads and brutal palm mute “chugs”.

The guitar recorded in Shreddage 3 Hydra features a “fanned fret” (multiscale) design and two Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi signature pickups, the combination of which offers incredibly clear, long-sustaining and low-noise tone. Though excellent for rock and metal music, particularly progressive and heavy subgenres, Hydra’s clean, clear sound is highly versatile and can be used as-is with minimal processing.

The EQ-110P employs frequency and amplitude analysis of input and output impulses from real vintage vacuum tubes that were used during the development.
