ADAM Audio introduces the T8V studio monitor.

ADAM expands their acclaimed T-Series line with the T8V monitor, boasting an 8-inch woofer and U-ART tweeter.

The T8V studio monitor is the latest addition to ADAM’s T-Series line of professional studio monitors. It features an 8-inch woofer paired with powerful amplification, and its power and lower bass extension make it an ideal choice for project and home studios, clients who work in bass-heavy music genres such as hip hop, dance, ambient, dub and EDM, and those who work in non-electronic genres like funk, metal, blues, and pop.

Its U-ART tweeter (Unique Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter) is mated to a sophisticated waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the HPS waveguide in the S-Series. The Class D amplifiers for tweeter and woofer offer ample power for the 8-inch woofer, delivering 20 W and 70 W respectively and providing 118 dB max SPL per pair.

All T-Series models feature a beveled cabinet design, rear-firing bass reflex port, built-in DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalization, and multi-way analog connections. In addition, the T-Series monitors are compatible with the T10S subwoofer.

The T8V will be available at the end of May, priced at $299.

Tracktion unleashes the new Waveform Pro.

Designed for the needs of modern music producers, Waveform Pro is a suite of tools that is powerful, intuitive, and very user friendly. UJAM releases Beatmaker VICE.

With a nod to the 80s, UJAM expands their popular Beatmaker series with the new VICE virtual drum machine.

Beatmaker VICE is the latest addition to UJAM’s series of virtual electronic drum plugins. It features drum machine samples from the 1980s processed to 21st century sound standard, ready-made patterns, and proprietary mix and effect automation.

Inspired by some of the most legendary classic drum machines from companies like Linn, Roland, Simmons or Korg, VICE combines the sound aesthetics of the 1980s with contemporary sound fidelity.

VICE aims at producers and musicians who want an easy and quick way to build drum tracks for the genre focusing on the music rather than the sound engineering.
