New Gear Alert: UAD Software v9.11.0, MOTU’s M2 + M4 Interfaces, 30th Anniversary SansAmp by Tech 21 & More
Introducing UAD Software v9.11.0.
Universal Audio is proud to announce the release of UAD Software v9.11.0. Alongside the UA-developed Avalon VT-737 Tube Channel Strip, the latest software release features plugin titles from UA’s direct developer partners, Brainworx and Sonnox.
The Avalon VT-737 is a precisely-modeled plugin emulation of the modern-classic channel strip that has been lending polished, class-A tube character to hip-hop, R&B, and pop hits for more than 20 years. By first mirroring the mic preamp impedance and unique front-end characteristics of a hand-selected VT-737sp “golden unit”, UA’s team of elite engineers then captured the target hardware’s class-A tube amplifier section, LED-style optical compression, and discrete four-band EQ—giving you all the textures and sonics of the legendary hardware, right in your DAW.
Developed by Sonnox for UAD hardware and UA audio interfaces, the Oxford SuprEsser DS plugin gives you transparent, precise linear-phase de-essing with near-zero latency when tracking in real time. A dynamic and powerful tool, the Oxford SuprEsser DS plugin’s spectral display and intuitive controls makes identifying and surgically eliminating unwanted sibilance or harshness easier than ever.
Introduced in 1994, the VH4 amplifier was Diezel’s maiden voyage—a 100-watt beast that dropped jaws with articulate cleans, dynamic distortion, and frothy high-gain tones. Developed by Brainworx, and officially endorsed by legendary amp builder Peter Diezel, the Diezel VH4 plugin masterfully emulates this four KT77-equipped 100-watt beast, for UAD hardware and UA audio interfaces.
The Avalon VT-737 Tube Channel Strip is priced at $299; Sonnox Oxford SuprEsser DS is priced at $249; Diezel VH4 Amplifier is priced at $149.

MOTU ships the M2 and M4 USB audio interfaces.
The MOTU M2 and M4 are two new USB bus-powered audio interfaces for Mac, Windows, and iOS, offering best-in-class audio quality, speed (ultra-low latency), and metering—with a full-color LCD.
With two and four channels of audio I/O, respectively, the M2 and M4 include individual 48V phantom power on both mic inputs, mono and stereo hardware (direct) monitoring, MIDI I/O, and “loopback” driver channels for live-streaming and podcasting.
Equipped with the same ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC Technology found in audio interfaces costing thousands, the M2 and M4 deliver an astonishing 120dB Dynamic Range on their outputs. ESS converters also drive the headphone output, which rivals dedicated headphone amplifiers costing hundreds.
Thanks to MOTU’s expertly-engineered USB drivers, the M2 and M4 deliver class-leading, ultra-low 2.5ms Round Trip Latency (with a 32 sample buffer at 96kHz). The M2 and M4 are the only audio interfaces in their class with a full-color, high-resolution LCD featuring clear, detailed level meters for all inputs and outputs.
The MOTU M2 and M4 interfaces are now shipping, priced at $169.95 and $219.95, respectively.

BABY Audio releases the Super VHS multi FX plugin.
Super VHS hosts six unique “one-knob effects”, coming together in a versatile channel strip, aiming to bring some 1980s lo-fi magic to your DAW.
