NYC Event: SAE New York 2nd Annual Alumni Awards – Wed., 7/31, @ The Cutting Room

Platinum records aren’t the only way to win recognition in this business: Graduates of the audio and creative media training school SAE New York also have the annual Alumni Awards to look forward to.

This year, all are invited to network and celebrate at SAE’s 2nd Annual Alumni Awards, being held on Wednesday, July 31st from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at The Cutting Room in midtown Manhattan. Networking, live music, and the professional work of SAE’s most accomplished graduates will all be on the agenda.

Admission is FREE (although please note that food and drinks are not complimentary). RSVP is required for attendance, register by visiting this link.

All members of the music and audio communities are encouraged to attend, whether or not you attended SAE. Engineers, producers, and artists will all be in the mix.

In addition, a bevy of NYC audio’s finest will be on hand in the form of the judging panel. Drop in for a chance to meet Howard Bowler of HOBO Audio, Joe Lambert of Joe Lambert Mastering, Selby Ham of Lenox Lounge, Don Wershba of Solid State Logic, and Tony Drootin of Area 51 Studios.

Musical performances will include The Black Tie Affair, Blue & Gold, Galapagos Now, and Bugs In The Dark. The event will be hosted by SAE’s Jeff Lanier and the veteran post production engineer, Julienne Guffain.
