Fish recently shared in four Native American Music Award Nammy nominations for his work on Joe FireCrow’s latest album, Face the Music. Fish was producer and co-writer on all songs along with FireCrow, who is Northern Cheyenne.
The Nammy nominations garnered by “Face the Music” include:

— Best Song Single (“Lizard Blues”)
— Artist of the Year
— Best Flautist
The Native American Music Awards (NAMA), commonly known as the Nammys, are an awards program presented annually by The Native American Music Association & Awards, which recognizes outstanding musical achievement among Native Americans. The awards were created in 1998 to offer Native American musicians in the music industry greater exposure and opportunities for mainstream recognition. This year’s Nammys will be held on November 12, 2010 at the Seneca Niagara Hotel in Niagara Falls, NY.
In addition to the Nammys, Fish was nominated for his 17th Emmy Award earlier this year for his work on the PBS Series “Moment of Luxury”.
