Producer Steve Pageot Announces 1-on-1 Music Production Classes, at Platinum Sound in NYC
One of NYC’s hardest-working audio experts — the Grammy Award-winning Producer/Musician/Composer/Engineer Steve Pageot – is now available for 1-on-1 music production classes.

A calming influence in the studio and the classroom, Pageot will offer his instruction at the elite New York City studio Platinum Sound. His new offering follows a decade of experience conducting Guest Producer Workshops at SAE’s Manhattan campus.
Pageot’s long discography includes a GRAMMY for his work with Aretha Franklin, platinum records with Krayzie Bone (of Bone, Thugs & Harmony), and scores for MTV, VH1, and numerous commercials. He is also an in-demand flutist.
As a producer, his influences include the likes of Quincy Jones, BabyFace, Teddy Riley, Dr. Dre, Guy Pageot, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Meanwhile, on the engineering side Pageot’s inspirations include heavyweights such as Bruce Swedien and “Prince Charles” Alexander.
In keeping with Pageot’s attention to detail, classes have a two-hour minimum, with four-hour lesson plans also available.
“The initial meeting with the client is for me to know what their needs are, and from there I’ll take him or her to the next level,” Pageot explains. “The main focus on these classes is about Music Production and to learn how to produce a song from scratch. Also, as a music creator Music Theory is the key and foundation for a long-lasting career in this music business — once you know the fundamentals you will be able to produce any genre of music.
