PROPELLER Music Group Composes for Canon, Imagination Films
NYC-based PROPELLER Music Group recently composed music for the Hollywood launch of Canon’s first cinema-level camera, the Canon Cinema EOS C300.

PROPELLER Creative Director/Composer Doug Hall recently composed music for the event held at Paramount Studios. Canon executives, journalists, directors, and cinematographers including Martin Scorsese — who served as MC for the event – were on hand.
Hall collaborated with director Rick Kaplan and Imagination Films to create an intense orchestral score for the product introduction, as well as a behind-the-scenes film with testimonials from top film directors who have already tried the EOS C300.
For the live show, PROPELLER created ambient walk-in music that transitioned seamlessly into a big product reveal. A near-subliminal electronic bed evolves into an anticipatory soundscape, then into a mood of epic orchestral intensity.
