Radial Now Shipping Mix Blender

Introduced as part of their Tonebone line of pedals, Radial Engineering has announced the release of the Mix Blender pedal.

and come goes out. This allows players to have more control over their signal, or open the door for creativity by mixing two instruments right from the pedal board. A great example of the mixing application from Radial’s Senior Tech Team Associate Ryan Juchnowski states:

“Although this may work perfectly well with an overdrive on a guitar, it is a problem with bass: distortion pedals are focussed in the mid and high frequencies, so when they are applied to bass, you effectively loose all of the low frequency energy and note distinctiveness. The Mix-Blender lets you add any degree of distortion to the signal path while retaining the original bass- tone using a simple wet-dry control”

Radial’s inspiration for the Mix Blender is drawn from a combination of user demand for more control, and sound-shaping pioneers like Jimmy Hendrix and Jimmy Page.
