San Francisco Event Alert: Creative Circuit Talks – Wednesday, Feb. 21

Audio plays a key role in VR, a technology with tantalizing possibilities for every aspect of the human experience.

This Wednesday, February 21st, SF ACM SIGGRAPH and the Association of Audio Producers (AAP) will host the latest in the Creative Circuit Talks series with “Drop and Give me Zen,” which explores a very techy topic: Transforming human potential through immersive technologies and biosensing systems.

Take your protein pill and put your helmet on: Experience biosensing and more this Wednesday at SF’s Creative Circuit Talk.

The panel will take place at the home of Zynga, 699 8th Street, San Francisco. Door opens at 6:30pm for mixer & refreshments – presentations will be 7:30–9:00.

Admission is $20. Visit here to register (tickets will not be available at the door).

An expert panel will tackle the question: How can we use VR and other immersive entertainment platforms to improve physical fitness?

Attendees will learn about (and be able to try for themselves) new brain-sensing technologies that use biofeedback to improve mental performance and drive emotional engagement.

Expect a fascinating discussion about how immersive technology can improve people’s lives, hearing from leading researchers in the field of kinesiology, neuroscience experts who study the signals our bodies generate, and pioneering developers who build compelling  experiences with them.
