Santigold, Daniel Merriweather, Louis C.K., In Session at Stratosphere Sound
Stratosphere Sound on the West Side has had a busy season so far. Studios A, B and Z have hosted a number of noteworthy projects including:
Santigold, working with songwriters Amanda Ghost and Ian Dench in Studio A.
The Australian R&B star Daniel Merriweather worked in Studios A&B with Amanda Ghost, Dave McCracken and Andros Rodriguez.
Louis C.K. was in Studio A, overseeing the jazz-based music for Season Two of his FX sitcom “Louie”. Ruddy Cullers engineered.
Songwriter Gregg Alexander was in studios A and Z with producer Rick Nowels. Arjun Agerwala and Ruddy Cullers engineered.
The Food Network used Studio A for a week to shoot interviews for Best Thing I Ever Ate. Chefs who came onsite included Rocco DiSpirito, Alex Guarnaschelli and Anne Burrell.
The production house Tonal recorded strings in Studio A
Fuse TV used Studio A as a backdrop for several interviews for their show, Hoppus on Music (featuring Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus).
William Beckett from The Academy Is collaborated with Adam Schlesinger on new material in Studio Z.
