SonicScoop Redesigns Site, Launches New “SonicScientist” Section

tmimas_tmias_fullsizeThe 21st century keeps on unfolding, and so does SonicScoop. This week, we’ve launched a fresh new redesign and are happy to announce a whole new section on the website, called “SonicScientist”.

SonicScientist has its roots in a blog called Trust Me, I’m a Scientist, created by SonicScoop writer and editor, Justin Colletti, back in 2011. Within a couple of short years, Trust Me, I’m a Scientist grew to become one of the most influential online publications in the pro audio world, reaching up to 70,000 visitors a month from all around the world.

Today, we’re pleased to announce that the new SonicScientist section will continue delivering the research-driven articles on the art, science and economics of music and sound that won “TMIAS” so many fans over the years.

Look for new articles from guests and regulars each month. SonicScientist will keep on tackling important (and often hot-button) issues in music and sound, with clear eyes, solid evidence, and a good sense of humor. Starting this month, you’ll also be able to find the “best of” classic TMIAS articles as we port over a back catalog of some of the greatest hits from the blog to date.
