Soundcraft Extends Vi Series with Vi5000 and Vi7000 Digital Mixing Consoles
Soundcraft’s start has been rooted in live sound productions since 1973. They’ve since introduced a number of consoles including the Vi series. Their latest addition adds the Vi5000 and the Vi7000 – replacing their previous Vi4 and Vi6 consoles.

Both consoles include plenty of options. A few noteworthy choices include 96kHz processing, mixing of up to 128 inputs and 32 mono/stereo outputs with up to 348 inputs and outputs in the I/O system, digital BSS DPR901ii Dynamic EQ, eight independent Lexicon multi-effects units, and BSS graphic EQ on every bus output. The consoles also include optional 64-channel MADI interface, allowing compatibility for Universal Audio plug-ins.
