SoundToys Announces Full Support for AAX 64 Native Format & Pro Tools 11 on Mac, AU for Mavericks
The universe for SoundToys users has just received a welcome expansion.
EchoBoy — and the rest of the rest of SoundToys’ Effects and Boutique plugins — are now fully supported for AAX 64 Native format and Pro Tools 11 on the Mac, including full support for AU on Mac OS X Mavericks.
Today, SoundToys announced a new free version of their Effects and Boutique plugins for registered users, with all of their plugins now recoded to fully support the AAX 64 Native format and Pro Tools 11 on the Mac.
The new installers are available for download from users’ SoundToys account now, for the full line of real-time native plug-ins.
Note that Avid has not yet certified OS 10.9 Mavericks, so this release covers only OS 10.8.3 Mountain Lion. Also, according to SoundToys,Windows Native AAX 64-bit plug-ins are in development, although no release date has yet been set.
In addition, this new update also includes full support for Audio Units on Mac OS X Mavericks. The update applies to all SoundToys real-time native plug-ins, and is free for all registered users in their SoundToys account.
This update features Mavericks compatible Audio Units versions for the native SoundToys Effects plug-in line (v4.3.1), as well as the full Boutique Series (v1.3.1), and all forth-coming plug-ins.
Compatible hosts on Mavericks include Logic, Live, and Digital Performer.
