‘Spider-Man’ Director Julie Taymor Replaced; Bono and the Edge Meet with Cast at Foxwoods Theatre

The NY Daily News reported that Julie Taymor has been replaced as director of the Broadway musical, “Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark.”

She will be replaced by Philip William McKinley, formerly the director of “The Boy from Oz”. The show’s songwriters, Bono and the Edge, were on hand at the Foxwoods Theatre in Midtown on Wednesday to brief the cast and crew on the changes. Read the full story here.
