Sterling Audio Introduces MX Series Powered Studio Monitors
Sterling Audio is releasing three MX Series monitors that include their WaveGuidanceVH technology.
WaveGuidanceVH is a dual axis waveguide that generates a wider “sweet spot” both
horizontally, and vertically of the center. The MX Series’ low-frequency drivers employ a proprietary, multi-fiber cone design for damping, which minimizes sonic artifacts and unnatural resonances. A four-layer voice coil delivers greater motor force for low-frequency performance. The silk-dome tweeter, powered by a neodymium magnet, provides natural high-frequency response. Each MX Series monitor sports a rear-panel acoustic port, which reduces low-frequency turbulence and distortion.
The MX8s weigh in with 125 watts of power for $249.99 per pair, MX5s deliver 80 watts at $149.99 per pair, and the MX3’s feature 20 watts for $99.99 per pair. All three models are available now.
