Steve Albini “Mix with the Masters” Seminar Announced – August 21-27

The latest Mix with the Masters to be announced is analog all the way.

That’s because it will be led by none other than Steve Albini, appearing for the first time at MWTM from August 21-27 at the residential Studio La Fabrique, in the South of France.

Renowned for his minimalist approach to creating rock masterpieces with Nirvana, the Pixies, PJ Harvey, The Jesus Lizard, and 2,000 more, Albini will bring something very special to his MWTM seminar: it will be an all-analog recording and mixing session with tape machines.

As always with MWTM, only fifteen participants will be selected. Engineer Greg Norman from Electrical Audio Studios  (Albini’s home base) will also be on hand, providing insight on the electronic and magnetic behavior of the equipment.
