The Recording Connection Announces “Learn From Legends” Master Apprenticeship Program
Founded in 1983, The Recording Radio and Film Connection (RRF) is a network of educational, instructional, and mentorship programs for aspiring media professionals that span the states.
The Recording Connection has announced a new mentorship program “Learn From Legends”, that features one-on-one educational mentorships for producers and engineers lasting between four and six months long. These mentorships will be lead by some of the industry’s best but will have very limited availability (you know, the whole one-on-one thing).
“Learn From Legends” will span across Los Angeles, New York City, Nashville, and other cities in the hopes of preparing the next generation of legends. Those who qualify will clearly have an invaluable and unforgettable experience. Interested in making the cut? Click here for more info.
More details of the program from RRF:
“Learn from Legends” is the first educational program of its kind: students will experience one-on-one learning in a Master’s studio for an intense period of four-to-six months. It will be available by invitation only, and only if the student-apprentice has taken basic audio education courses recognized by the Recording Connection. Students can come from the Recording Connection beginner program or transfer in from another school, as long as it is one approved by the Recording Connection. Those students who do qualify will be able to intimately work with and learn from a truly rare group of professionals. Currently, they include Al Schmitt, Niko Bolas, Bob Bullock, Ross Hogarth, Ryan Hewitt, Michael James, Vance Powell, David Huff, Adam Moseley, Steve Marcantonio, Tim Palmer, Rhaki, Rafa Sardina, F. Reid Shippen, Bil VornDick, Michael Wagener and Dennis White. Other award-wining producers and engineers will be named in coming months.
