Tone2 Icarus – 3D Wavetable Synthesizer Now Available

With the on-going goal to exploit the limits of audio manipulation, Tone2 brings us their next innovation with Icarus – A 3D wavetable synthesizer that adds an extra dimension to what we know.

Tone2 is behind creative synthesizer methods like NeoFM Synthesis in their Nemesis synth, and Impulse Modeling Synthesis (IMS) in the Rayblaster synthesizer. Their new ‘3D wavetable synthesis’ allows user to expand what traditional wavetable synthesis is capable of. The result is sounds with plenty of dynamic expression. Icarus adds even more functionality with a built-in vocoder, re-synthesis, 62 filter types, 53 effects, and much more.
