Universal Audio Launches Flagship UAD-2 OCTO Ultimate 5 DSP Accelerators

The magic number for UAD-2 users is now five. That’s because Universal Audio has just released the Ultimate 5 package for the UAD-2 OCTO PCIe Card, as well as UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt and UAD-2 Satellite USB DSP Accelerators.

The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt OCTO DSP Accelerator now benefits from Ultimate 5.

Ultimate 5 means getting a plentiful plethora of UAD Powered Plugins in one shot – all 89 UA-developed plugins including Studer, Ampex, Manley, API, Fender, and Neve among many others – in one comprehensive software bundle (see complete list here). Replacing Ultimate 4, it includes all UA-developed plugins up to and including UAD Software v9.0 (direct developer plugins are not included) and is available in three configurations:
