VT Event: Guilford Sound Hosts Analog Tape Workshop with Larry Crane and Speedy Oritz
If you’ve been craving an excuse to escape to the Green Mountain State, allow us to present the perfect reason:
Vermont recording studio Guilford Sound will be hosting an analog tape workshop with engineer Larry Crane manning the helm – editor and founder of renowned Tape Op magazine.
The session will demonstrate a nostalgic, all-analog recording experience, tracking two songs to a Studer A827 “Gold Edition” tape machine to the sounds of the band, Speedy Oritz. Mix down will occur using ¼ inch and ½ inch Ampeg ATR102 decks.
