Waves Releases J37 Tape Saturation Plugin

Waves Audio and the one and only Abbey Road Studios have partnered to release a tape saturation plugin designed after the exact model used to create some of the greatest tracks of all time.

J37 Tape comes with tons of variable parameters that one would find on the actual tape machine, and also comes loaded with three tape models that each contain a unique sonic signature.

The J37 Tap plugin is modeled after the original J37 used in Abbey Road Studios.

The Waves J37 Tape saturation plugin is available now in Native or SoundGrid formats. Native is currently on sale for $149/$249 MSRP as well as SoundGrid format for $249/$375 MSRP.

With a variety of user-adjustable controls including Tape Speed, Bias, Noise, Saturation, Wow and Flutter, the Waves: Abbey Road J37 faithfully recreates the inimitable sonic signature of the original machine. In addition to the J37 itself, three exclusive oxide tape formulas have been modeled.
