Zeitgeist Sound Studios Masters Grammy Winners Mary Mary and Calle 13

Last Sunday’s Grammy Awards proved to be fruitful for James Cruz, chief engineer for  Zeitgeist Sound Studios in Long Island City, Queens. Cruz watched on as Mary Mary’s “God in Me,” which he mastered, won Best Gospel Song, and Calle 13’s “Los De Atras Vienen Comingo,” which he also mastered, won Best Latin Rock, Alternative, or Urban Album.

“Los De Atras Vienen Comingo” was also recognized in November at the Latin Grammy Awards, with Calle 13 taking home awards for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Urban Music Album, Best Alternative Song, and Best Short Form Music Video.
