Zulu Pearls Signs To Cantora Records
Cantora Records, the Brooklyn-based label that launched MGMT, has signed a new band – Zulu Pearls.
Zulu Pearls is singer/songwriter/rocker Zach Van Hoozer, a Washington, D.C. native who has been living in Berlin.
Van Hoozer recorded the Zulu Pearls debut LP No Heroes No Honeymoons with producer Nick Anderson (Aloha, Title Tracks) at Don Zientara’s legendary Inner Ear Studios – where D.C. punk and indie rock bands like Fugazi, Minor Threat and The Dismemberment Plan recorded. Chad Clark (Beauty Pill, Smart Went Crazy) mastered No Heroes at his own Silver Sonya mastering studio.
Cantora will release the album in the U.S. on September 18.
