Waves Audio announces the PRS SuperModels plugin.
Created in collaboration with Paul Reed Smith, the Waves PRS SuperModels plugin superbly models three high-end PRS Guitars amp designs: the coveted PRS Archon, the legendary PRS Dallas, and the never-before-released PRS Blue Sierra/V9.
PRS Archon delivers a shimmering clean or aggressive overdrive; push it harder and you get glorious distortion. With its lush gain, the PRS Archon is ideal for lead or crunching rhythm, while also offering a clean channel that players of all genres will appreciate.
Never-before-released—even in its hardware form—the PRS Blue Sierra/V9 is an ultra-rare amp that was an early original format for the PRS J-MOD 100. Evocative of boutique American guitar amps, it is equally great for clean sounds and for medium-gain overdrive tones.
PRS Dallas provides the sounds of classic American reverb amps. The all-tube design produces an open, classic tone for huge-sounding cleans, or multiple variations of overdriven sound with natural-sounding reverb. Originally designed by chief PRS Amp Designer Doug Sewell, this highly musical amp offers sweet highs, solid lows and beautiful mid-range tones.
PRS SuperModels is on sale now for $49 (reg. $129).

Sigmund is a multi-tap delay type effect with four identical and independent delay lines, which can be connected together in a few different manners, enabling you to work in several different configurations.
Registered Focusrite hardware customers can access the free effect and discount from their Focusrite accounts.
Acustica releases the Cream Suite.
Cream is a VST/AAX/AU bundle composed of several modules based on an iconic series of hand-built British vacuum tube and transistor-based solid-state hardware made between the late ’50s to the early ’70s. Part of it is vacuum-tube based, part is built upon solid-state technology.
Cream is equipped with 40 pass-though emulations divided in three different categories (Line, Mic and Tube), a four-stage multi-model EQ featuring Bass, Treble, Presence, and “Magic” bands—and a compressor section switchable between a solid-state 1970s console design and a vacuum tube outboard British mod of a 1950s American design.
Acustica offers not only the channel-strip plugin, but also a preamp, EQ, and compressor modules. Each stand-alone plugin contains the same features included in the strip, and in many cases it also offers some useful extras.
The Cream Suite is available for pre-order now, priced at €169.15.
