Apogee Introduces New Ensemble
Apogee Electronics has announced their new Ensemble 30×34 Thunderbolt 2 audio interface for Mac-based studios.
With this latest iteration, Apogee has completely redesigned the Ensemble, leveraging the best of their innovations from products like Symphony I/O, Duet and Quartet with the new features and power of Intel’s Thunderbolt technology.
Key features of the new Ensemble ($2,495; available this month!) include extremely low round-trip latency performance, 8 mic preamps, front panel Guitar I/O, built-in talkback functionality, and the most comprehensive user interface of any Apogee product.
According to Apogee, Ensemble’s proprietary Thunderbolt audio driver and full 32-bit playback path provide incredible CPU efficiency, allowing you to leverage the power of your Mac to monitor through a DAW with native plug-ins and simplify your workflow.
