Clapton, Crow, Atoms for Peace & D’Angelo At Electric Lady

Eric Clapton has been recording and overdubbing his new record at the legendary NYC recording studio, Electric Lady, working with Doyle Bramhall II and Derek Trucks.

Bramhall, the blues-rock guitarist and singer/songwriter who plays in Clapton’s band, has also been working with Sheryl Crow at Electric Lady recently.

Crow’s been co-producing her new R&B/soul-infused record,100 Miles from Memphis (due out this summer) with Bramhall and Justin Stanley, and tracking at Electric Lady.

Thom Yorke’s new project, Atoms for Peace — with Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (bass), producer Nigel Godrich (keys), Joey Waronker (drummer; R.E.M., Beck) and Mauro Refosco (drums and percussion; Forro in the Dark) — recently did ten days of tour rehearsals inside Electric Lady’s Studio A.

And, D’Angelo has also been working at Electric Lady, recording and mixing his long-awaited follow-up to Voodoo.
