Dynaudio LYD Studio Monitors Now Available

Originally introduced at Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Dynaudio’s LYD Series of pro reference monitors are now shipping.

The design of the LYD studio monitors stand by Dynaudio’s philosophy of reproducing sound as transparently and accurately as humanly and acoustically possible. Design of the LYD series addresses several issues that can cause poor mixing decisions – Low end representation and fatigue caused from long listening sessions. Users are promised to have accurate representation across all frequencies and volume levels. LYD series has an extended sweet spot, allowing for an ideal collaborative mixing environment.

The Dynaudio LYD studio monitors will ship in 5, 7, and 8 inch models.

Further, the new LYD monitors address the classic problem of phase errors when applying EQ filters to adjust for room acoustics. Rather than relying on traditional EQ tools, LYD monitors come with tilt filters, carefully designed for tailoring the ‘balance’ perfectly to fit the environment without introducing the common phase compromises.

Dynaudio’s LYD studio monitors are available now in three sizes: LYD 5 (each) $599 MSRP, LYD 7 (each) $669 MSRP, LYD 8 (each) $789.
