Gig Alert! Xiu Xiu and Deerhoof Do Joy Division at Williamsburg Waterfront, Sunday 7/11

This Sunday, July 11th, dark rockers Xiu Xiu and catchy experi-mentalists Deerhoof will be teaming up to do justice to everyone’s most beloved angst band, Joy Division.

The Manchester mainstay’s classic Unknown Pleasures will be performed by the conjoined groups in a free show at Williamsburg Waterfront, the first of Jelly NYC’s Pool Parties. Also on the bill will be Why?, Fang Island and Pictureplane.
