Grace Design Announces m905 Analog-Only Stereo Reference Monitor

Colorado-based Grace Design originally developed their acclaimed m905 with included DAC – now with the audio-only version of the m905, users that already have converters can still make use of the m905 reference monitor controller. Users can upgrade to the digital version at any time.

Basic Breakdown:

The m905 Analog is configured  with a 2U mainframe Audio Control Unit (ACU) and a sleek desktop Remote Control Unit (RCU). All audio connections are made on the ACU, and all system control is from the RCU. Analog inputs include 2 balanced via XLR, one unbalanced via RCA and one balanced CUE in via XLR. Outputs include 3 balanced speaker outputs via XLR, 2 subwoofer outputs via XLR, balanced CUE output via XLR. An optional wireless remote option is also available.

The m905 Analog-Only Stereo Reference Monitor is available early December for $2495 MSRP. Here are more details from Grace Design:

The m905 represents a new benchmark for audio playback quality. DAC performance is on par with the finest esoteric mastering equipment available. Our redesigned s-Lock™ PLL ensures ultra-low jitter clock regeneration. An asynchronous USB class 2 interface allows the m905 to act as the master clock of the computer’s USB audio buss, effectively eliminating interface induced jitter for computer audio playback. And finally, meticulous analog circuitry measures with outstanding numbers in dynamic range, distortion and noise performance, ensuring bracingly open, detailed and musical playback of any input source.
