Label Moves: X5 Music Group (NYC) Adds Noelle Bell, Account Director

X5 Music Group, the growing digital music label, announced that it has hired the highly experienced music executive Noelle Bell. In her role as Account Director for X5, she will be based at the label’s New York City offices in the Empire State Building.

Noelle Bell has joined X5 Music Group as Account DIrector for the digital label.

Bell is a digital music veteran who will be in charge of strategically orchestrating digital sales plans with accounts such as Amazon, iTunes and Spotify. She will also be responsible for managing relations with X5 Music Group’s newly-signed catalog accounts.

In announcing the hiring, X5 North American CEO Scott Ambrose Reilly (read SonicScoop’s full feature on X5 here) recognized Bell as key to the label’s expansion strategy.  Bell was previously a member of the digital team of Sony’s Commercial Music Group, where she was responsible for the development of sales plans for Sony’s catalog with digital retail accounts. While there, she would create the best execution for catalog promotions in tandem with frontline new releases, artist and media events, and existing catalog opportunities.

Prior to Sony, Noelle was one of the first hires within the digital department of Warner Music Group’s Alternative Distribution Alliance.

At X5’s US offices, Bell joins Reilly, Chief Content Officer Griff Morris, and Chief Product Officer Dan Pifer at X5’s US operation.
