Line6 Announces the StageScape M20d Digital Mixer
Line6 really accomplishes their goal of putting the latest tech into the hands of musicians with the introduction of the StageScape M20d. Although we first noted this eye-catching solution in our NAMM wrapup earlier this week, we think it warrants a deeper look.
Attempting to break the mold of traditional mixers, the M20d has no faders or dedicated pots and includes a large LCD screen as its main attraction – showing a graphic representation of your sound sources on a virtual stage. How do we access the channel parameters you ask? Simply touch the graphic representing your source and bingo! Set it and keep your creative juices flowing.
The StageScape M20d hopes to break the mold for live mixing and recording.
Aside from the many other features, the M20d is also made to work with Line6’s new StageSource L3t and L3s monitors as a complete, intelligent system. The Line6 StageScape M20d digital mixer will be available in Q3 2012. Now – more details from Line6:
