Live Venue Moves: bergenPAC Names Jim Steen New Director of Programming & Promotion

The Bergen Performance Arts Center(bergenPAC), based in Englewood, NJ, announced that it has named live music veteran Jim Steen to the post of Director of Programming and Promotion.

bergenPAC has reinforced its leadership with the addition of Jim Steen.

Steen will oversee all event programming as well as venue marketing operations in his new post. Prior to joining bergenPAC, Jim spent 12 years at Live Nation in NYC as Vice President where he handled events such as Paul McCartney at Yankee Stadium, the record-setting run of 14 sold out shows from Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden, and the annual multi-night run of the Allman Brothers at the Beacon Theater. He also oversaw attendance record-setting seasons at both the PNC Bank Arts Center and Nikon at Jones Beach Theater.

Steen’s career began at Grey Advertising, before he moved to Young and Rubicam and Keyes Martin. After working at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory Concerts, Steen moved to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ from 1997-1999. He is a graduate of Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia.
