Music for Picture Moves: Score a Score Adds Detroit, SF, LA Staff

Music for picture specialists Score a Score, which matches composers to visual media projects that need original music, has had an expansive 2020 with three key new staff additions.

Julian Wettlin, one of three new Score a Score hires, gives the company an increased presence in Detroit.

These new team members bolster the Midwest and West Coast, including Julian Wettlin based in Detroit (former Music Producer at Doner); Jessica Makhlin based in San Francisco (former Music Coordinator at Transit); and Michaela Frank based in Los Angeles (former Sales Representative at Bueno).

The Cannes Lion-winning Score a Score celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. 2020 recognition also include making the Inc. 5000 list for the 5th consecutive year, a Guild of Music Supervisors Award nomination for their work on the Amazon series Free Meek, work on ad campaigns for Apple, Microsoft, Taco Bell, Subaru, Rocket Mortgage and LinkedIn, plus trailer campaigns for Marvel’s Black Widow and Netflix’s The Midnight Sky.
