BPB releases the FREE BPB 64 virtual Commodore 64 synthesizer plugin.

Bedroom Producers Blog offers the free BPB64 virtual synth.

BPB 64 is a sample-based freeware Commodore 64 virtual instrument for Windows and macOS. The included patches were sampled from three different Commodore 64 units. BPB recorded the direct audio output from the SID chip without any additional processing.

BPB 64 includes 37 presets, covering bass sounds, leads, pads, and authentic C64 arpeggios. All sounds were recorded raw to capture the infamous grit and lo-fi crunch that made it famous. The user interface features a filter, an ADSR envelope, four built-in effects (chorus, reverb, delay, distortion), and modulation.
