New Gear Alert: Eventide’s Elevate Bundle Expanded, Iconica Strings by Steinberg, V-Type IRs from Celestion & More

Eventide and Newfangled Audio announce two new plugins for the Elevate Bundle 1.5.

In partnership with Newfangled Audio, Eventide expands the Elevate Bundle with the Saturate and Punctuate plugins, along with other key updates.

Eventide and Newfangled Audio’s Elevate Bundle 1.5 adds two new plugins, Saturate and Punctuate, as well as crucial improvements to EQuivocate and Elevate.

Saturate is a spectral clipper plugin, useful for mixing or mastering. It adds up to 24dB of drive with a variable Clipper Shape parameter that moves from a soft curve to full hard clipping. Saturate automatically compensates output level based on the Drive control or, alternatively, allows this to be controlled manually.

Punctuate, a transient emphasis plugin, offers up to 26 auditory bands of transient emphasis or suppression while its unique Adaptime Transient and Adaptive Length controls allow algorithms to tailor each band’s transient shaper to what you want to hear.

EQuivocate benefits from a new “Range” feature, allowing you to scale or invert the total dB range for the EQ in order to change the total amount of EQ applied after setting the individual bands. Elevate adds true peak limiting, preventing final masters from clipping during reproduction and ensuring compatibility with all broadcast standards.

The Elevate Bundle 1.5 (including Elevate, EQuivocate, Punctuate, and Saturate) is available at an introductory promo price of $139 through September 5th (reg. $199). Owners of EQuivocate can upgrade to the Elevate Bundle 1.5 for $99 through September 5th (reg. $149), and owners of Elevate can upgrade to the Elevate Bundle 1.5 for free at any time.

The V-Type has a vintage pedigree, combining elements of Celestion’s most classic speakers, particularly the G12H Creamback and the G12M Greenback, to deliver well-balanced tone across the entire frequency range. Highs are open and airy, but never shrill or brittle, complemented by full-bodied lows and a well-balanced midrange. The speaker’s distinctive percussiveness is sure to bring joy to rhythm players, with a lower midrange that gets agreeably punchy when played dirty. Clean sounds sparkle and glimmer, but there’s still plenty of raunch on tap when it’s time to rock out.

The V-Type IRs, as well as the rest of the collection of genuine Celestion IRs, are available for audition and download at CelestionPlus. The V-Type collection is available for $29.99; individual V-Type IRs are priced at $11.99.
