New Math Adds Final Mix Capabilities to LA, NYC Studios

New Math’s LA final mix suite and offices.

Final mix services are now available at New Math, a bicoastal music and sound company with studios in Los Angeles and New York City.

A collective of award-winning composers, sound designers and producers, New Math is a prolific creator of music and sound for content including advertising, brands and film.

The LA room, located at 1305 Main Street, A in Venice, CA, and the NYC room at 164 West 25th Street, have mirroring setups. Both feature Focal 5.1 monitoring systems, fully loaded Pro Tools systems, and analog outboard from Neve, API, DW Fearn and Summit.

New Math’s final mix offering will be overseen in New York by Head of Production B Munoz and on the West Coast by Senior Producer, Jake Falby. Munoz and Falby are supported by New Math’s in-house roster of composers, who can also serve as skilled audio engineers and freelance mixers/engineers on an as-needed basis.

By adding final mix — the last phase of the audio and finishing process before a project goes live — New Math aims to provide a full-service audio solution to its clients. The company also offers music, sound design, and VO recording.

In 2018, New Math won both an AICP award for Best Original Music and LIA Gold prize for its work on MLB’s “Play Ball” spot, created by Anomaly.

Like it’s LA counterpart, the New Math NYC final mix suite is outfitted with Focal 5.1 monitoring.

The aforementioned Jake Falby represents another recent development to New Math, which appointed him to the role of Senior Producer.
